The photo on the left is me not long after having Alex - I felt extremely low, both physically and mentally. I had very low energy levels, hated the way that I looked, didn’t recognise myself in the mirror, none of my clothes fit and I was shocked to see the size of my body and face in pictures.
After months, there came a point where I couldn’t take it anymore. I decided that I wanted to make a drastic change in my life, starting with my small daily habits.I started finding exercises and workouts that I actually enjoy, and, through extensive naturopathic health and fitness coaching qualifications which I applied to my own life, learned that I could actually eat foods that I love - yes, even carbs at every meal and chocolate very evening! - and still reach my goals and feel my absolute best.
I started seeing progress for the first time in years (below this line you can see a picture of me pre pregnancy - still very much a ‘before’ photo).
The changes were not only physical but mental too. I started feeling like I finally had control over my life. I started having the bedtime and morning routines I’d always dreamed of but never thought were possible for me. Heck, I wake up at 5am these days to work out and love it!!! If you had told me this a few years ago I would have never believed you...My whole mindset around nutrition and fitness changed drastically. I finally learned that you CAN have it all - enjoying your favourite foods, having a fitness routine you love, spending time with your kids, and pursuing your career. It’s all possible with the right approach and a good balance.
I have since helped countless mums do the same: lose fat, get fit, toned & strong, and feel energized and fulfilled WITHOUT having to sacrifice their favourite foods or spending hours working out.
